Join us for a Sisters’ Benefit Brunch and Lecture
DFW ladies, mark your calendars for Sun Feb 04 2024 at 10:30 AM (CST) and be prepared to be inspired, uplifted, and leave with a renewed sense of optimism. The Ummah globally has been enduring so much pain for so long that finding hope has become difficult. Join Ustadha Dunia and LPC AleynaNur for an insightful session where they will guide you through a Prophetic, emotional, and psycho-spiritual approach to hope, healing, and coping.
In the sacred month of Rajab, believed to mark the Heavenly Journey of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during Israa and Miraaj, we reflect on the precious gift bestowed upon him by Allah ﷻ. This gift, received in a time of sorrow, granted our beloved Prophet ﷺ a renewed sense of hope amidst one of the greatest hardships of his life. As an Ummah, we find ourselves amid challenging times, facing perhaps the greatest trials of our era. Our hearts ache witnessing the struggles of our brothers and sisters in Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, East Turkistan, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and around the world.
In times of crisis, it's easy to fall into black-and-white thinking and despair. Combined with the shame of not doing enough, this despair can hinder our ability to make a meaningful impact. It's crucial that we continue to show solidarity with our Gazan brothers and sisters. Yet, we must also recognize that unless we care for ourselves, our ability to contribute to the greater cause diminishes—especially in the long term.
